Daniel Blake is a young wedding and portrait photographer based in the Hudson Valley. For the last few years his work has focused deeply on the emotional themes he finds most compelling in his life: heartache, loneliness, love, and melancholy. Daniel's experience as a queer artist has continually shaped his approach to photography and helped him develop his personal style. Since his days as a student, he has found special fascination in capturing the endless oscillation of memory. Daniel finds a lot of meaning in the power of the mind to warp our realities in ways that we often love, and other times despise. Daniel believes we all desire to be understood by others in a way that often seems unattainable, which is why over all else Daniel seeks to communicate those inner thoughts and feelings through his photography. Daniel is confident and proud to say he am pursuing his dreams and wants to capture yours in the process.
