Who said running a business was ever easy?
No one. Unless you have some kind of magic ability that I don't know about. I sort of thought it would be a little easy I'll admit. Here I am 28 years old just deciding to fully shell out my business as a photographer and bite the bullet and try my hardest to swim out in the sea of thousands of other photographers. Do I have what it takes? I sure do! There's no doubt about that. But I forget about burn out as an artist or let's be real....as a person. especially since 2020 when the...he who shall not be named pandemic...began, it's been harder than ever in the creative fields. It's nice to have solidarity and friends to speak to that are going through the same problem, but man! I want to see us all thrive and living our best lives. That's hard to do; especially when you didn't take business courses in college....who knew. Anyway, someone told me once that people enjoy seeing your creative process and that includes blogging. I thought that was left back in 2008. But I am happy to bring it back or jump on that train. I know I like behind the scenes content, so I hope my ramblings include that for you.
Here's my beginning to truly "girl bossing" it and really babying my website/business instead of just utilizing Instagram and cursing the algorithm... I won't actually stop cursing it, it's horrible.
