Hudson New York Styled Wedding Fun at The Caboose by Kitty's Cafe

I was graciously invited by Table75co to join a wonderful creative team on my second styled shoot ever (My first was a halloween witch theme; I'll post about that some time). I thoroughly enjoyed my first styled shoot, so I was eager to accept this opportunity.

I was even more overjoyed when they asked me for help in finding some models for the shoot. I will take any opportunity I can to involve my friends in fun creative projects, especially my good friend Mariabella who always helps me feel more in my element when working together. I ended up connecting with the second model through an instagram reach out; and together Bella and Hanifah truly blew us away. I won't stop saying how lovely everyone on the team was, because I would absolutely work with everyone again, and if you ever need something for your wedding; check out the team links at the end of this post and reach out!

First Impressions

First walking to "Set" I was immediately greeted with a warmth of red, and I am a sucker for the color red. This building is The Caboose in Hudson New York and it is a recently new Performance & Event Venue right next to a train station and the cutest little restaurant called Kitty's, which also does all their catering! That building is also red, and even the train station is matching!

I should also mention the back of the venue has a lovely outdoor stoned garden area with stone benches and lovely trees which also showcases a red train car. A wonderful prop to use in your events photos!

The Caboose in Hudson New York is a Performance & Event Venue and it's a stunning 6,500 sq ft event space. You know when most wedding venues are in barns and the light is always so orange? This isn't that. It is so bright but calming; even on a cloudy day it feels bright and cozy. The event space is also located across from a train station and attached to a cute cafe called Kitty's, which also does all their catering! Also, anything to do with cats count me in....

I mean...check out that lighting as well as some behind the scene photos of all the wonderful vendors I got to work alongside to make this shoot happen. And so much room for activities!

I Want To Create More With Creatives!

I have only ever done one other styled shoot apart from this one. I honestly don't seek them out, but when an opportunity arises; I won't hesitate if I can manage! Again, I was lucky enough to be invited by Table75 (wedding planning within the Hudson Valley and beyond) who brought together a wonderful team of creatives. (These will all be listed at the end of the blog for references! So please go take a look!)

Nothing is better than working alongside your best friend

I will always invite my friends along when I can for creative endeavors. Especially to model. Of course I am going to bring along my best friend who is absolutely stunning, confident, and awesome. Not to mention very much a comfort to have alongside me in potentially nerve wracking situations. Luckily; these creatives I worked alongside were absolutely kind and courteous and so fun to bounce ideas off of and just get to know. I do truly hope I can work alongside these people again making art or actually on a job.

Oh one more thing!

And; one last mention the venue has very luxurious RED bathrooms even! I would say that's important to mention. It was also a very satisfying ambiance in there. Makes you feel sort of like a movie star, which you certainly should on your big day or for whatever event it is you are hosting!

oh! AND AN EXTRA SHOUT OUT to the wonderful little dog helper on set; he was the supervisor and arguably had the most important job out of us all. (But really had to mention the dog; such a cutie!)
